I know there isn't much you can do with hoops, but Nike's kits are fairly boring on the whole. Like the current home one, not sure til I see this one in the flesh.

I normally remove the Carling logo when I get one. It comes off easy on the Nike tops.

I washed this kit, ironed it inside out over the logo and then peeled the logo straight off. Very retro!

I'd never buy a kit that has a sponsors name on it, if carling, 02, carlsberg or whoever want to pay me to act as a billboard for them they can feel free to get in touch and talk to my agent, otherwise it's old-school shirts for me

The top was supposed to look retro for the 40th anniversary of winnign ol big ears so without the sponsor it does look good.

You can ring the club line and when ordering through there ask for unsponsored but there's a huge backlog of these (well they tell you there is anyway). Carling aren't going to want lots of people walking around in unsponsored top. Tell them you're an ex-alco and don't believe in advertising the drink!!!

Speaking of jerseys, I have an MBNA credit card and have gotten enough points for a signed jersey so one should hopefully be winging its way to me soon.
