The goal was a bit of a disaster to be honest. We looked good when Flynnie was on, Behan is hiding somewhere. Mooney has a good chance with a lovely through ball from Lordan but Deleany took it off his toe.
Derrys midfield is good but we're not out of it yet.

Two all, Mooney with two in two mins. Get in there

Lordan had a great chance, Mooney nearly chipped the keeper, came off the post. Could go either way now.

Darren Murphy driving up through the middle. Hutton clipped it off him.

Into the break now. Cobh and Galway next two home games with UCD away in between there too. That is definitely a possible 9 points.

Fair play to the lads, dug out the result in the end. Mooney was very unlucky not to have his hat-trick and what a hat-trick that would have been.
But City didn't really look interested until they scored their first but once that happen the flood gates opened.
Go on da City!!

You'll not see a better comeback than that. Amazing stuff. Hopefully we can get 12 pts from 12 in the next four games against the basement clubs, and then we'd be right in the mix.

What a comeback, at 2-0 i thought it was over, fucking delighted with the win.
Derry fans were sound after the game too, nicest group of fans i've ever met, very gracious in defeat especially the way they were defeated.

Fantastic comeback - shame the break is now...the momentum this win could generate and all...however, should be looking to get 9 out of nine in the next 3 games and that would bring us right back in contention...

Don't get carried away lads. Yes it was a great win with cracking goals but the defence was all over the place for the goals conceded. If city go two down against any of the top sides again this season they won't be coming back to win. It only happens once in a blue moon. For this to be some sort of a turning point in the season there'll still have to be an awful lot of hard work put in on the training ground.

yup.. better than a lick in the balls though
city need a lift to get the season off the ground and hopefully this was it
the defence were at sea though.. i was convinced we would concede in the last few mins
