Derek was woeful last night. Looked like a hippo on skates for the first time. Very surprising considering his upturn in form in the last two years

As a battle-hardened Spurs fan of 21 years now I couldn't muster up excitement even if they signed the whole of United's and Chelsea's best 11s. I've seen it all before. Player x signs for Spurs, player x either gets injured, mis-managed or fucks off. Come back to me when Spurs are in a champions league draw. I'll get excited then.

I started following spurs when i was six years old. I saw them playing coventry in the 87 cup final and that was it they were my team(even though they lost thegame) I know exactly whatu mean. iT is very hard to get excited prior to next season no matter what happens in the off season.
