I sat down and watched the Ireland vs Barbars game last night and was thinking, the Leinster lads have a much more entertaining style of rugby.
I think Leinster deserve our support.
Leinster is backed by the SFI, rigby the way it should be played

And they're honest about their backgrounds.
I could imagine sharing a Heino or two with Dricco, Shane Horgan and de goys.
I bet they don't go sticking beer bottles up their ass celebrating Liverpool winning the European Cup like some of the Monster lads.

Whats the point of winning the biggest trophies that we could attain to when you can play entertaining rugby and win fock all.

Talk about bandwagoneers...twas Toulouse last week, but now that they lost ye back the D4 lads who won it last night...the Sports Forum should really re-think it's entry criteria...

And Arsenal should adopt Chelsea's "direct" football tactics next season as well I suppose?
All joking aside, there was more nice rugby on show last night than on Saturday with plenty Irish lads at the heart of it.
Munster have to import their few touches of class from New Zealand.

Yeah...the Baa baas side were really up for it last night FFS...worst display of apathy from a baa baa side I have seen...
Con's U 12's could have played like that against them...

They did.
That's not my point at all.
Any professional franchise will need to bring in a few non-local lads where they're weak but at least Leinster continue to produce exciting back row talent. Luke Fitz was excellent last night, I had to agree with Wardy.
Not a rugby fan but if it's anything like other sports, that only comes through good coaches who encourage creative players.
Vice versa, where you don't see that, what you have is a morbidly negative attitude at large amongst the coaching set-up.

No but a proper balance between the 2 is whats needed. United won teh league playing some fantastic football but at times grinding out results.
The match last night was a bit of a joke, but I thought Luke FItzgerald was fantastic as was Rob Kearney. Kearney on the wing, Murphy at Full back and Fitzgerald at centre with O'Driscoll would give Ireland a fantastic attacking backline.
Between these lads and guys like Tomas O'Leary, Denis Hurley and Keith Earls coming through in Munster, the future is definitely looking good for Ireland in that area.

Remind me. What did Chelsea win this year?
Brent Pope said at half time that the Baa Baas looked like they were on the beer the night before. At best it was a end of season friendly. At worst it was a joke of a match. Seeing Malcom O'Kelly finding a gap in the defense and sprinting 20 yards says it all.

The game was a glorified training excercise size the Baa-Baa's would do well to beat a club side.
Keep supporting them anyway, they might do well next season, once they dont get Edinburgh in the HEC again.

Ya it is in fairness, but they're fucked up front, leinster are already looking to replace Le Roux witha another import (van der Linde by all accounts). It'd be interesting to see McCourt and Ross against proper opposition to see how they do.

Very true, you can not win a match with crap forwards (in general)
You have to create balance and Leinster, up untill now, focused more on the flare side or rugby without balancing it with a platform that allows that style.
Look at Figi, outstanding 7's players but can never do it on the 15 game because they are too much into the 20 yard pass.
Tolouse, a great team for style, got beaten because they did not have the ability to grind out a turnover. Something that Munster did repeatedly on saturday.
Tolouse got the ball plenty of times towards the end but each time they lost posession in rucks because they were still focusing on a piece of flare to get them the scores, rather than be patient and force a Munster error
You really have to laugh, and I MEAN LAUGH at these jocks, the very same jocks who were castigating Clive Woodward on this very forum for playing the exact same way Munstershire/Stade Limerique does :lol!:

Would this be the same Fiji would went further than Arland in the world cup?
The same Fiji who knocked out Grand Slam winners 4 months later, Wales
The same Fiji who really rattled eventual winners South Africa?

Quote to me their the amount of times they have won anything?
The Irish soccer team got the the world cup quarter finals once too. Does not mean that they were ever a force in world soccer
Senegal beat the world champions in soccer in Korea/Japan, great team they have.
Plenty of examples of teams playing above themselves.
Do you ever look at things as an entire argument or just the parts that suit yours?

To think a Cork coach presides over such a negative approach given our reputation for flair in other sports.

Hang on, so Leinster are ok until they play for Ireland (when we get more SFI bile on them) is it?
Basically anyone but whoever cork rugby fans support are great. Thus the same players can be praised or vilified depending on if club or country jersey is on. Terribly sensible.
