Munster Rugby has paid tribute to its fans for helping them reclaim the Heineken Cup.
40,000 people packed onto O`Connell Street in Limerick to welcome the team home on Sunday while 30,000 were there wishing and praying for a win on Saturday.
That`s in addition to the 40,000 supporters in the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff to witness Munster`s second Heineken Cup victory in three years.
Tributes were paid by all the players to the fans and outgoing coach Declan Kidney says the homecoming is the team`s small way of saying thank you.
