Personally I wouldn't associate munster with french rugby.

Is Stade Limerique a bit deceptive though? That implies Munster play the game in the same style as the French which we all know isn't true.

Munstershire is more suitable.

What national team, and club teams, screamed to high heaven when they changed the laws to ban forming a wedge maul?

France and its clubs were renowned for denying opposition the ball by any means necessary

any Stade Limerique is a fawking excellent name for Munster/Thomond park.

Even had the Leinster lads screaming it by the end of the match

I think that the SF"I" have given Mnuster their proper nick at last

In English it's Munster.

Just like Mumhan is "Munster" in English.

(Schoolboy error there in fairness nrh, I'd have expected more from you)

Your point?

Is that many places share a common name, why move the topic to pedantism like this?

Münster is always referred to as Münster, no need to go all SF"I" on us

A tune for POL and Lamps...

Two little boys had two little toys
Each had a wooden horse
Gaily they played each summer's day
Warriors both of course
One little chap then had a mishap
Broke off his horse's head
Wept for his toy then cried with joy
As his young playmate said
Did you think I would leave you crying
When there's room on my horse for two
Climb up here Lamps and don't be crying
I can go just as fast with two
When we grow up we'll both be soldiers
And our horses will not be toys
And I wonder if we'll remember
When we were two little boys

Obviously the pink rugby shirt has already been taken.
So how about a fetching lime green to go with the fruit in the average Munster supporter's half-time G and T.
