This Sunday 25th May, the Craichouse Comedy Club will run a very special night for charity. All proceeds from the night will go to a Kilkenny based charity.
The Craichouse is doing this in association with Comedy Dublin who recently held a very successful charity night.
The monies raised from the two clubs will be pooled together and donated to a Kilkenny based charity.
This year the Craichouse will bring the biggest team ever to hit the Kilkenny Comedy fringe festival. Over the past three years we have received huge support from the local people of Kilkenny and feel it's about time we gave something back.
The actual charity will be suggested by the people of Kilkenny, hopefully it will be one that is in great need. the amount raised might not be great but it's our small way of saying thank you.
On the night we have the return of one of the founding fathers of the Craichouse, Martin Henchion. Martin has only recently returned from Australia and has agreed to head line the night to support the good cause.
"Rickey" is a renowned German comedian, currently on a European tour, and has also agreed to support the night by making a guest appeaeance.
Ash o Halloran, the man behind the Irish Hotel industry will make his usual mad cap appearance.
We will also have tow more comedians making guest appearance.
MC for the night is me.
So why not come along for a great night and support a charity at the same time.
We will also raffle off a limited edition Craichouse Tee-shirt.
