Charity Fundraiser.
This year the Craichouse will participate in the Kilkenny Comedy fringe Festival for the 3rd year in succession. We have received great support from the people of Kilkenny over the past few years, as have the other clubs in the fringe.
This year the Craichouse contacted the other clubs to see if they were interested in donating money to a Kilkenny based charity. None of the clubs in the fringe receive any sponsorship, so money is tight, but already Comedy Dublin has held a charity night.
The Craichouse will hold a charity night on Sunday 25th May and all proceeds will go to charity. we will also raffle off a limited edition Craichouse tee-shirt on the night. The money raised will be put with the money raised by Comedy Dublin and donated to a Kilkenny based charity. This is our very small way to say thank you to the fantastic people of Kilkenny, for their support and help over the past few years.
The added bonus of the night is our headline act......Martin Henchion, the God father of the Craichouse. Martin has returned from Australia and this is a comedian not to be missed by anyone.
So I would call on everyone if they can to drop in to the Craichouse Sunday 25th at 9.00pm, you will get great comedy, a chance to win a limited tee-shirt, and more importantly the chance to help a charity.
Craichouse Comedy Club,
Slainte bar (Up stairs)
Market Lane, Patrick St.
Doors open 9.00pm.
Entry €5.00.
