Ice Hockey

Anyone here try it?

Learning to ice skate now so I can join a bunch of lads in forming a team for a lower league Ice Hockey league later this year. It looks mad. I'm hoping my hurling and soccer experience will help but I doubt it.

been at only one game when I lived in canada. I was supposed to try play but wasnt allowed due to being a bit drunk.
The skating part isnt that hard with a bit of practice, you get used to it, but I never tried to play hockey and skate at the same time....id say its deadly.
Im assuming the league is in Washington?? Id love if there were somewhere in cork you could learn to play, looks like wild crack!

Yes it's in Washington DC. We can wait for a severe winter and then play it out at The Lough using hurleys. That would be worth flying home for.
