There's talk of him heading out the gap from City this summer. Newcastle are apparently very interested.
It may all be for the benefit of contract negotiations though. He has 1 year left on his contract and apparently is unimpressed that Micah Richards is out-earning him.
Would be surprised if someone a bit better than Newcastle wasn't interested though...Spurs maybe or even Villa.

he could do well at liverpool. need someone of hyppias stature there but with some pace. my only concern would be whether the extra pressure that would come with playin at a top club could get to him. overall well worth the punt though. one of the better all round centre halves in the prem

Newcastle are a team in dire need of defensive strenghtening it would be a good move from Keegans point of view

bad move for dunney monster though, unless he was assured that they were gonna buy at least 2 more decent defenders and a defensive midfielder that isnt slower than an OAP

Derek has matured into a fine player (bar the odd horror show now and again) and has replaced his reckless streak with a responsible one. He hasn't quite scaled the heights of football that his talent merited but he has developed into a very useful player who could do a job at any of the top teams imho
