The rocket has just knocked in his 9th competitive 147 beating stephen hendry's record of 8. Not only that but he did it in the deciding frame of his match against williams. The man is a genius.

The crowd was buzzing once he'd reached 50 the balls were sitting lovely but he still pulled out some magic shots to keep on the black. Robertson and McGuire who were playing on the other table stopped their match to watch ronnie do his stuff. Ronnie will be going home tonight with an extra £157,000 in his arse pocket.

He'd already made a break of 140 in the same match.
Now's a good a time as any to recap on the fastest 147 ever.

some of the shots he played during the break were worthy of winning any match but taken into account everything it was an incredible effort...AGAIN!

I loved the way they stopped at the next table to watch and all. Fair play to O'Sullivan.
I'd agree with what they said on the panel on the beeb the other day, if the tournament was over a shorter time period he'd be after winning a few more World Championships.

Was it Robidoux he played a few years back and drove him mad by playing with his bad hand most of the match?
One thing about Ronnie is he's never boring no matter how well or badly he plays.
