Doug Howlett

Doug Howlett has done a lot of work on the field for Munster which he has not got credit for . Howlett played his first Heineken cup game for Munster against Clermont up to that game Munster had conceded five tries in the HC in the three games that Munster have played with Howlett playing they have only conceded 2 tries and both of those were in the first half of the game against Clermont . Munster have now gone more that 300 minutes without conceding a try in the HC against three first class teams Doug Howlett has got a lot to do with it

ya defo. Apparently he's added alot to the squad and game plan since he's arrived. Brought some new ideas etc that the all blacks were using!!

With the younger guys like Earls, Hurley and Lewis there, they could learn a lot.
