Thecraichouse.com will soon be opening up a comedy legends page where we will have clips of some of the greatest comedy legends of all time.
Who would you have on it?
I will start: Bill Hicks, Richard pryor & Eddie Murphy (Raw & Delirious).
this is not a question of how good are they now? but if they ever deserved to be called a ledgend and i think Eddie murphy did for about 2 years.
I await your input.
P.S. the page will be about a week in the making so be patient.

Are you actually aware that comedy existed long before the comedians you named as "Legends". The label "Legend" is one that is earned with the passage of time, many of to-days comedians might have greatness but I wouldn't go so far as calling them legends. If you are to consider to-days greats then you must consider yesterdays greats.
Irish Legends.
1. Jimmy O' Dea. ( The Master )
2. Maureen Potter. ( irelands 1st Queen of Comedy )
3. Eamonn Kelly. ( As a story teller he stands alone)
4. Hal Roche ( Not my favourite, but opened tp door to America for many to follow.)
5. Niall Tobin. ( He hails from Cork )
6. Brendan Grace. ( Brought Irish comedy into the 70's)
7. Dermot Morgan. ( A man before his time )
Non Irish Legends.
1. Groucho Marx.
2. WC Fields
3.Charlie Chaplin.
4. Bob Hope.
5. Jack Benny.
6 George Burns.
7. Peter Sellers.
8. Benny hill.
9. Joan Rivers.
10. George Bush jnr.
