Terrible game. City's passing at times was brutal. I know its only the start of the season but for two of the fancied teams for the league this season they have a lot of work to do. City had their moments tonight but they are lacking the final touch in front of goal big time. As I said a lot of work to be done and it needs to be done pretty soon or they will find themselves off the pace early on.

I cannot believe anyone could say that tonight ????:shock:

Seriously like, i just cant believe you came away from the cross tonight thinking that ??? The mind boggles. I must have been watching a different game .... were you watching the other game tonight be any chance?

I know its only the start of the season but for two of the fancied teams for the league this season they have a lot of work to do.Drogs were hardly going to offer it on a plate, post match interviews from them they were delighted to leave with a point and are probably getting a ticket by the Dunkettle Roundabout as we speak trying to get out of here so fast.

They have a great squad too to be fair, both teams would have hard a tough game

City had their moments tonight but they are lacking the final touch in front of goal big time.In the first we were camped out in their half, and missed some great chances, notably the one where either Flynnie or Healy could have walked it into the net. Kearney in the second as well

As I said a lot of work to be done and it needs to be done pretty soon or they will find themselves off the pace early on.Its only a few games in, and we haven't lost a game yet. Before tonight i would have said something alright but we looked brilliant going forward. City will not be off the pace this year

The passing was terrible, the amount of times the ball was given away was unreal. My neck is killing me from constantly looking up to see where the ball was. The hoofing shit has to stop. Also there was a lot of players guilty of giving the ball away.

On a side note, how the fuck did Colin Healy get caps with Ireland, he's not even good enough for the EL. He should be dropped and move Georgie in to the middle, he's the only one who looks like any sort of threat going forward.

I was out de X. Where the hell were you? If you are being honest about citys passing then I would seriously question your eyesight. How many times did city players give the ball away or hoof it into the stands when they were trying to pass the ball?

its the centre mids lads,

Gamble was never one to link, he's a breaker-uper so i'll leave him off.

Colin Healy was fucking dire again.
Scream for the ball off the defence, pass it a different direction and move to space to receive again, get involved
When the winger has the ball fucking scream for it ,, get involved

with Healy being so lost, when the ball went out to Georgie the options were limited back in the centre,, all he could do is release the overlap (predictable) or play into strikers which was a crowded area

Healy,,, pull your socks up,,, grow some balls,,, you're well able

alternatively,, Georgie centre mid,,

Well fucking said. Healy hasn't been great at all, i'd expect a lot better from a supposed international player. His passing is shite, fair enough he breaks up play a bit but we need someone more creative in the middle with Gamble i.e. Georgie. They worked very well together before and i think they can do it again. Healy should be dropped for a while because he is adding nothing to the team.

Jog on, if we had put those two chances away you would be able to rattle off that tripe.

Thats the important word there, "if". The fact of the matter is that we didn't put away those chances which I stated above that we are lacking the final touch in front of goal, and even if they had put them away it still doesn't take away the matter of the poor passing on the night. Plain and simple, it was brutal. We could also say IF gartland had put away his chance, IF the ref had given the peno, City will need to up their game big time on Friday night to overcome Derry. 4 - 5 games into the league season isn't the time to start playing catch up.
