Be careful what you write, I agreed about a comment made in the basketball thread about a Neptune player and a mate of his on the board e-mailed him what i had wrote, Now (A) i don't give a fuck what other people think about 3pp or myself the man behind 3point and (B) the said National League player is a grand lad who i don't have a problem with, Our team might have players that need to jack it in a give their places up to the young lads but the player i was talking aout is not one of them.

Oh i have a good idea which PROC head it was who did this and the poster would spend more time in the sweet vally high fourm.

So lads be careful what you write.

There was someone calling someone gay on some basketball thread a couple of months ago (I think it was basketball anyway)

How stupid and childish was that?

Don't think there is any moderation here and there should not be, people should be responsible enough for their actions

Also, I don't think it's necessary for people to hide under user-names and shoot the shit like that, there is nothing wrong with people giving an opinion on something, it is a free forum

It is only the internet after all, a place where the most cowardly can make their feelings felt

I was not even slagging off the said player just said to shut his mouth to the refs in the Basketball thread, Now i have coached players for years and i alays tell them the same thing when it comes to the refs to shut their mouth and let the coach talk.

Thats fair enough alright 3pp but I do think that highlighting individuals of public messageboards can be a mine field and cause numerous problems. Its often best to not name names. However, playing for Neptune is a high profile thing in basketball circles(I wouldnt know anyone) and often thses players can be subjected to much more spitelful remarks while playing and when out in public

Yeah to be honest i haven't a clue about the various allegiances and i only read that one night cause i was bored, not accusing anyone, but calling someone gay i think is poor form, regardless of whether they are or not, it shouldn't matter
