just goes to show you the level of interest the average irish rugby supporter has...
their level of bandwagonary is unprecedented...
give it 2 years when the wheels fall off for munster and the irish team is back to chasing the wooden spoon and we'll see where all the rugby jerseys are then..
this fucking excellent for the sports forum.

why dont you go start a thread about another sport you follow instead of this mindless negative rubbish!!!

ROG is getting a lesson from Sir Danny. ROG started well but from about ten minutes on he's started to bottle it. His kicking out of hand has been aimless, i've counted at least 3 of his passes that went to ground, vainikolo ran straight over him, noon went down his channel and all rog did was look at him. World class my fucking eye. Danny is only 20 and looks twice the player rog is. He's been passing better, kicking better, he's way faster, he's making gaps all over the shop. This is fucking excellent for arland.

Well you'd be wrong.
ROG bottled it big time today, there's no escaping it.
rog disgraced himself yet again, outplayed by a young lad, fock off rock with eddie

Heh heh heh, I'd say you stopped him cold in his tracks with that one, it stunned him, his comeback was pitiful.
Anyway, regarding todays game, nothing will sum things up in a better way, than a simple picture, encapsulating all my feelings on this day, so here it is, for Pol and Lamps espicially.....

Churchill would have been a handy prop I'd say. Fat lad into skullduggery, not averse to the odd cheap shot. Made for it.
Re: The Game.
Cipriani is the bidness.
Ashton is a genius. Time to leave Jonny move back to centre and let this lad show us his silky skills. I got this one wrong.
Where is ROG in the list of great number 10's now?
Not even top 5 in Europe. Wouldn't make the Welsh or English match 22 for sure.

As I said Lamps, I didn't think we had the guns. In all honesty, I'd never heard of Cipriani, looks like a fine player in the making.
If Sir Johnny is a true champion, he'll buckle down and do some hard work and stop doing as many hairspray adverts.
At the end of the day ROG, it's time to get rid of the ego's, the team want players, not gheyers.

I love Jonny's hair. In fact I'd say he has great hair. He's a true champion though and will bounce back and Cipriani will have tougher days than this, thats where we'll see if he has Jonnys balls of steel.
Our England side were phenomenal, defending in Arland's face all day.
Its disappointing to see how the common garden Arish jock has basically disowned the team and lost all interest.

Shocking Lamps, the rats have abandoned the sinking ship of Irish rugby.

As the performances wear off the bandwagon begins to ground to a halt. Who'd have thunk it.
I spoke to a guy last night who was telling me he was heading to England today for the game. I reckon he must have said it 4 times, stressing it more as he repeated himself because I didn't give a shit about it. He stopped short of telling me how much cash he could lay his hands on right that minute if needed and how many credit cards he has.
O'Sullivan might be terrible for Arland, but he's the best thing to happen to the rest of us who don't want our ears to bleed at the mouths of the V neck sweater brigade.

I do too to be honest.
He'll mix with English fans today and they'll jolly about how noble the sport is and how great it is to be able to mingle with opposition fans. They'll go their separate ways but their paths will be the same - get rotten drunk, whip out their cocks and possibly meet their group and beat someone senseless after the nightclub, possibly for being from a lower class than them.
The Celtic Tiger has been great for a lot of us, but it's also produced an extraordinary amount of wankers. There's nothing worse than new money, especially when they're trying to fit in with the old money. You can't' buy class.

The only good thing to come out of this, the 'SFI' have proven they've matured as a nation.

Eddie will get the sack, I'll take that as a consolation prize.
I supported Ireland when wooden spoons were the norm, when once in a blue moon we'd win a 6 nations match against one of 'the big teams'.
so enjoy slapping about your big ol tar brush but you're talking utter bollocks and gleefully ignoring the core rugby support in Ireland and the fact Munster are once again having a very good season and are managing, against the financial odds, to still be beating top english and french sides.

Its only the 'soccer' yobbos who indulge in such violence Mon,
whens the last time a supporter was stabbed at a rugger match?
The oiks should stick to talking about the 'beautiful game'

Ah stop Dan. You've all seen the type. Those Blackrock lads who got off scot free a few years ago, they would have done time if they'd any other address.
Still, I'm more interested in the 6 nations with Ireland getting the wooden spoon considering the competiton is 8 years old.

Avoiding a wooden spoon used to be the most important thing some years. Guess we're come along a way in 20 years but the fear is we could just as easily go back the other way. If Scotland ever get it together we could be fighting it out with Italy. Glad to see Eddie is gone but there have just been too many missed chances over the last few years. A few championships/grand slams/away series win to NZ were all within reach but they pissed them away at the last minute each time. Not all Eddies fault but he certainly takes a lot of the blame. Will never miss the misery of the 90's though.

The thing with EOS, is that he takes the fair lump of the credit when things went right and has tried to deflect the criticisms when things went wrong. He cant have it both ways.
The Irish team has gone nowhere with him in the 8 years or soe he's been the coach, time for a fresh start. Italy should come on stronger under Mallet, if he can pick a few backs from somewhere they'll be doing alright. Having the best no 8 in the world helps as well I'd say!.

in 8 years of attending at least a dozen rugby games a year i have never seen a violent incident amongst supporters. I have attended about a dozen soccer games in my lifetime and have seen voilent incidents at more than half of those games.
I dont know what goes on in the early hours of the morning around the streets at these sporting events but im sure there are alot more voilent incidents on the streets of glasgow, newcastle, london etc after the soccer.
