I couldn't agree more with that article.

I'm thoroughly enjoying watching Munster this season, I've not enjoyed an Ireland game since the loss to France last year. Its a fucking embarassing shambles.

By some grace of god we have a good next generation of players surfacing in a few positions, we need this gobshite gone so we can rebuild.

Wales have carried out a perfect recovery from a shite world cup, whole new coaching team, put a fire back into the players and a boot in their hole. Ireland have gone backwards and done fuck all.

Id laugh if it wasnt so tragic that if we'd have sacked him at the WC we could have picked up some good coaches on the merrry go round, now if he goes we'll probably be soaking up the dregs and England may be in the hunt too.

It is quite easy to argue that the last few years we have had the best pool of players available to us that we've ever had.

That they have colossally underachieved is in no doubt, given the successes such as Munster winning the HC you've got to look at what the hell is going wrong at a national level.

The players have more than enough skill to win a six nations, but its just not happened, wales might end up with 2 grand slams across those same few years with arguably less talent, there's no excuses as to why Ireland couldnt notch up any in that time.

The coach should be fired. End of.

You say O'Sullivan needs to go then you say that you hope that we whip the English fact of the matter is if we whip the tans O'Sullivan will keep his job

One of the most stupid staements that i have ever heard in my life

Why ? I agree with him. Yes - Eddie should go as the side has fallen backwards over the last year now and fresh ideas are needed but proud Irishmen would never wish defeat on the team ....that's one of the most basic inherent characteristics of any sports fan...you always want your team to win....

No i always want Ireland to lose so that the IRFU would sack that moron O'Sullivan

I pray, I dont want to wish failure on the team but if its as simple as win he stays lose he goes I'd probably take the hit on a game like this that counts for little in the big picture of things.

really hope he goes, He seems to have lost it compleatley. The shite he tried to play in the last game was a disgrace. the back line was good enough to take on the welsh. Sickened if he stays but if Ireland win, We'll have him for another season. Bring back the Hein cup

Jake White is free...

Jake White would be ideal, but theyd need financial support like Denis O'Brien to get him.

If he walks obviously there's no compo, but thats the last thing the little fucker would do.

Eddie Jones is around as well, although if he does go obviously expect Mick Galway, Michael Bradley to be mentioned as well as probably Nigel Melville and probably Clive Woodward.

or mike ruddock could be convinced, or any of the top S14 team coaches.

in the short term, i can actually see ireland playing with a bit more passion this weekend, BOD is symbiotic with EOS WRT the current lack of any ambition, ROG on the other hand has been captain of one of the more exciting teams munster have put out and has led by example, he's already stated he will take personal responsibility if things go wrong so it will be interesting

eddie jones has already signed a contract to replace gaffney at the end of the season at saracens with gaffney swapping roles to become backs coach

Before he can get to suffocate the attacking instincts of all those players, however, Eddie O'Sullivan must go.

the most accurate sentence of eddie's time in charge

Christ I cant think of anything worse than woodward, that'd be going from one shade of shite to another. England won the world cup in spite of, not because of,woodward and the shambles of a lion tour exposed his frailties.

England won the world cup in 2003 not because they were the best team in the world at that time ( that was France ) they won it because they had the best coach in the world at that time

I didnt say I wanted him to be the coach, they're the names that will be bandied about IMO, and as liam said Mike Ruddock is another option.

Dont think Kidney will take it either.

Woodward was a good caoch but to say France were the best team in the world in 2003 is crazy...That england team were the best and most consistent team in the world from 2000-2003...they won 19 games in a row at twickenham and beat the big southern hemisphere 3 home and away numerous times during this time...a feat no other northern hemisphere team could manage...the likes of Vickery,Johnson, Hill, Back, Dallagio, Dawson, Wilkinson, Robinson, Lewsey, greenwood would have made any team in the world and some of those players will go down as all time greats in their position....Ireland beat France in 2003 and France bottled it against England in the semi...hardly the best team in the world!!!

will it happen though? Are the IRFU going to keep fucking around or do they have the balls to drop the axe? I'm not convinced that they do.
