Fair play to him. This could mould him into a better manager. I was afraid he become a pariah, but i'm delighted to see this happening, I mean, it's not his fault he was appointed as Ireland manager 2 years ago, it was the FAI's

Stan deserves a chance ...and this is the right level to start building up a profile again.He should not be castigated for taking the opportunity to manage Ireland - he was the only one brave enough to take up the challenge at the time when no one else was really willing to do so (for the right reasons anyway)...his severe lack of experience at even coaching level was not really considered important by the FAI, and the blame should lay squarely with them...

Yeah fair play to Staunton.
He was in over his head with the Ireland job and as someone else said the FAI were to blame mostly. Hope it works out well for him.
