Suprising lack of hatred of him on here ... or will it start when he plays his first senior game?

What's he done that's worthy of a thread?

He took RKs shilling! ;)

There were rumours he'd make his Sunderland debut today - I fully expected him to get a slating on here when the anti-Keane brigade realised he was there.

Hatred for 16 year olds getting a start in the game is not what this place is about.

We're better than that.

...give it 4 years, or until he walks out on his country, then you'll see the hatred in spades.

But he signed for Sunderland - enough to damn him forever according to many on here.

EDIT: O'Donovan has made his senior debut today. Poor bastard.

Brightest point of a sad day. Mind you, if he'd scored ...

Classy player..

Unpossible - he signed for Roy Keane!

Read a big article on him the other day!!! Best of luck to him!! Seems to be progressing ok but will find it hard to get game time when his club are fighting relegation as they won't risk a young fella in those "must win" games!!!
