Half - heard radio report today of surge of money in Dublin area betted on this. Fearing that the FAI are up to their usual standards when it comes to confidentiality, some bookies have stopped taking bets.
At least the Irish and English managers would have something in common : they would both need interpreters for the natives to understand them !

His daughter wouldn't be bad for the rub-downs

I'm surprised at you.

By the way is Hayley McQueen on MUTV anything to Gordon McQueen?

Celtic?

That was a roaring success. Maybe the FAI should reunite him with John Barnes! I wonder what Mon would say about it?

Bookies must absolutely clean up taking bets on new managers. I'm sure someone'll have a tale about how they won on someone, but each time a managers job comes up about three or four different guys fly down to short odds because a bunch of money went on them.

I could tell you about my life's winnings right now

But as for my losses, have ya got all day!!!!!

Bookies are clever, this story was all over the media yesterday, making out that they were "nervous" etc

We only hear about the bookies the odd time they lose, and even then they get free advertising

This time last year

I remember i had to prove to Lamps or someone that you weren't bullshitting when it started to get emotional in here at one stage

I don't bet online as I don't think i'd have the self-control and i also bet with my heart too much

They say it is far from confirmed

At the earliest, we will hear something in two weeks i think i read

They might have just been throwing the Kenny thing out there to get a reaction, knowing the FAI
