I was in France and the whole French squad and some that weren't in it were shilling for everything from burgers to moisturiser.

In the 2002 football world cup France, Portugal and Argentina all failed to get through groups that they should really have won, but definitely should have qualified from. This happened for various reasons, but mostly because when the games came around, they played badly. This happens in a lot of tournaments. It happens in Under 12 basketball, it happens in World Cups. It happened to Ireland this time. People need to get over it.

I heard that that the players were actually "too fit" By this I mean that they lost alot of weight and bulk in their conditioning programmes and therefor got pushed off the ball in contact too easy!!!
Apparently the provinces were shocked at the condition of some of the players!!!
