Croatia had some decent players alright and were well organised but let's not forget that they were beaten by Macedonia last saturday night.

I think it's great that England are out, not because of any general anti-Englishness but because it's better to root out bluffers like McClaren, Lampard and Gerrard now rather than have them scrape through to the finals and lose again to a half decent side who know how to win a game or two. As Ho Chi said, let's take an interest in teams who know how to do it at the top level rather than the hyped up rubbish that we have to put up with closer to home.
