If the GAA were any good they'd offer Croke Park to England until Wembley is sorted out.

The line of scrimmage and the two NFL touchlines were in the same rubbish condition as at the end of the game ..three weeks ago. ...shocking.

Bring back the Twin Towers.

A national embarrassment for the English

How much did that ground cost again?

It was in poor shape alright. But what did they expect playing american football on a natural grass pitch in the rain. Most teams in the NFL in parts of the US where they have bad weather they have turf.

Even before the American footy it was a terrible surface

The Cup Final being one example, also some of Englands first games there

It just seems to be a very soft surface.

They had seven years, technology, and a billion pounds and the most important thing to sort out is the surface.

It was the same for the FA cup final as well, ..cut up and too soft. ..not good enough.

It wasn't good enough for the NFL game either, ..and NFL players are used to playing on grass as well.

Not many stadiums in the US that I can think of have a completely natural grass surface though. When they say grass surfaces it usually is some mixture of grass and sythetic material that makes it more resistant. As far as I know wembley is a complete natural grass surface. And the fact is pissed rain through the game didn't help either. It made a soft surface ten times worse.
