You can't blame the man for taking the job but you can blame him for being a shitty manager

You can't blame the man for taking the job but you can blame him for being a shitty managerThat won't necessarily be a permanent situation though. He's a rabbit in the headlights and it was a poor decision to appoint him but that doesn't mean he'll always be a poor manager. There may be a time in the future when Staunton is a far better and more assured manager and looks back on this and thinks why didn't I cut my teeth in the lower leagues in England first before taking that job. That's another sad thing about this mess.

All the more reason to be in peak condition.
He has always been heavy, even when he made his debut (and scored) for us. Even if he lost some weight, he isn't going to gain any pace. His fitness would improve alright, but it won't make him a better footballer.

His fitness would improve alright, but it won't make him a better footballer.Nuts. Fitter = better. I know it wouldn't make him more talented or skillful but it would make him better. The more tired you get, the more mistakes you make. The fitter you are, the more consistant your performance from 0 to 90.

If SS had managed to make Robbie Keane look interested in scoring, he'd be safe in his job now.
I think Richard Dunne is a prime example.
He got slated, particularly by Dunphy, for being slow, heavy, unfit, lazy etc etc and in the last 12-18 months he has looked a completely different player to what he was 2 years ago.
He used to be the weak link the Irish defence when he was playing against Cunningham cuz players could turn him no problem. The minute they showed a bit of pace he was screwed.
It's down to sharpness i think, the better condition you are in the sharper you will be.

Those cause and effect diagrams were annoying aswell.
The causes of getting bad gel results is not loading the samples correctly. Christ pipette + sample + well equals good band separation and good results.
That actually makes no sense at all.

He has to go and take Delaney with him.
He hasn't a fucking clue. We're way beyond embarrassment at this stage. It's disturbing to see him trying to justify things after the match. The man simply doesn't have it. Disassociating himself from the players and the performance as he did last night in the post match interviews merely confirms his end is nigh. The squad of players cannot change much but the manager
can.
Time to get serious and move on.
