Did anyone notice that Wilkinson twice refused balls given to him for penalty kicks against France.
My understanding was that there were only six match balls, clearly numbered, that both sides had been given to examine and practise with before the game.
RWC had admitted that in earlier games some match balls had been found to have been blown up to a far greater pressure than recommended.
Yet Wilko clearly took one look at the balls handed to him and instantly knew he didn't like the look of what he saw.
Either Dragnet needs to uncover a conspiracy theory or you've got to question
the competence of the organisers

It's happened to Felipe, Rog and Wilko.

All when they were playing France.

Hmm.....

There was more of it in the other semi last night.
How hard is it to get enough match balls for everyone to play and practice with?
This is supposed to be a World Cup, not some local charity tournament.

The kickers are not too happy with this Gilbert ball. Normally they get to practice with 2 of the 6 match balls, but they have changed this to all 6 from the outset of these finals. Wilko obviously had preferences, big deal like.

there are issuses with the offical ball - they have dimples in them to make them easier to hold however this effect the balls flight after a kick
