I'd say most of the sports forum have never seen a live football match, the SFI didn't even know what football was until SKY sports started.
I'd like to hope he's wrong about this, so as Lamps suggested, a poll is in order.
pick the permutation that best describes you. I realise that some people may only go to cross channel games and not bother with irish league games or irish internationals.
I suppose i'll include MLS for Amadeus :)

if this is the highest level of football you've seen, you can pick option one :)
P.s. I haven't included european football either, but as i said there really are too many permutations, but feel feel to post a description of the furthest flung regions of the globe, where you've attended games

Nah, we are going up.
I've heard good reports about MK Dons recently, particularly after their performance against Notts County. It has been made aware to me that The Dons are by far the best side in League Two. Leon Knight, Lloyd Dyer and Keith Andrews caught the eye of my source.

No one should believe EVERYTHING , no matter where it's printed or posted, but in fairness they have been very credible posts in this thread, with people citing examples, and more tellingly they've said what they haven't seen, which i think adds a certain gravitas to their claims.
Of course there are armchair supporters in the sports forum, but I'm confident now that they are the minority

Cork City - Pre-season friendlies, LOI, FAI cup, Europe (Bayern at Musser was the highlight)
Spurs - Only ever went to Division 1 / Premiership games including one away at Villa park in the mid 90's.
Ireland - Qualifiers at Lansdowne and people probably won't believe me but both Italy games in the WC (90 & 94)

Xvis wasn't messing i don't think btw he has been a big footy fan for years
Myself has been mainly LOI and English league (millions of times) including old Division One and two
Used go to every Irish home for years and used go to every City home in Flower Lodge and for a time at the Cross (Rarely Btown, go now to Cross when i can when work permits great set up out there and quality footy)
Loads of Champions League games through many years and some UEFA Cup and Cup winners Cup too(City v Bayern and Gala being great memories)
FA Cup, FAI Cup (including the final v Derry) and loads of big World Cup and Euro qualifiers
I've watched some games in Europe too and saw Ronaldinhos' debut for Barca, saw Ireland beating Brazil, Cork city nearly upset Munich and Zidane, Giggs, Del Piero and Scholes score in a classic United Juve game
many more that i can't remember offhand

Vegalta Sendai are now my local club - and my god they're rubbish. but the atmosphere at japanese games is one of the best i've ever experienced and i always enjoy it when i go. The crowd go mental for the whole 90 minutes irrespective of the game and there are loads of cute girls hugging you when they score - shame it's not such a regular occurence!
