I don't think the Froggies can - something about their press not having freedom to report things that we would normally take for granted such as gambling problems and extra-marital affairs. Brought in by French politicians, but could be doing us a favour!!

perhaps the amount the booze that he consumes during the winter acts as an antidote, or maybe it's because being ginger is a big enough curse for anyone
