Beat Wexford twice,Galway once and Limerick await in the final.
I suspect Cody will take that every day of the week.
All jokes aside the amount of quality games played by Cork,Waterford,Tipp, Limerick,Clare put those Leinster Hurlers to shame and Galway as well
Despite the refs best efforts Killkenny did deserve their win today but come on,it has to be made a bit more difficult for them in future.
Better arrangement of fixtures,no more endless replays..give them extra time just like the U21's.
Let waterford have a longer rest in between games like they are getting a bit old.

great display by them today, snuffed out the limerick full forward line with ease.
They were very hungry for it. Fair play to them, they are a class hurling county.
Cannot argue though that they have a simple slide into the All-Ireland final each year, and until that changes they will win more and more.
Although, that said, I feel Cork will be back stronger next year. The older guys will put in a trojan effort to stop KK win a three in a row, and to go ahead in the roll of honour. And there will be new blood also.
All in all, KK won the All-Ireland and it must be some consolation to that poor young McGarry kid.
Here's to 31 for us next year.

Cant see us doing much for a while, especially with the current management, I can only see ourselves going through a slump similar to the 90's.
Their's a mind-set in Cork hurling circules that things will come together on their own. Think like that and we'll be similar to Tipp, still regarded as a hurling power but basically apart from a brief spell of dominence in the late 80's/early 90's have done nothing since the 60's.
People may point to our underage success this year, but still no All-Ireland from either the under21's nor the minors today. Looking at the minor match it was men against boys stuff. Cork didn't compete for anyball, the Tipp boys were out to the ball first all the time and caught every high ball also.
The under 21's this year were a decent bunch and were a bit unlucky not to win last week, but being realistic they were best under 21 team by a bit we had since our last All-Ireland winning under 21 winning team which was 9 years ago and thats far too long not to win that title.
Tipp and Kilkenny have some serious talent coming through and if we don't get our act together we'll be left behind. Proper coaching at underage is the key and would personnally love to see the likes of JBM, Seanie Leary and someone fresh like Mark Landers in those positions.
Don't mean to put Cork hurling down as it's my life but I am worried and would gladly liked to be proved wrong

Back on topic, people may say Kilkenny had an easy All-Ireland, but sure how bad we'd take it ourselves. Their an awesome team and played within themselves all year which only shows the dept of talent and strength they have. I still firmly believe that the Leinster don't deserve a automatic semi spot for next year, and the GAA must insure that Galway are placed in that provincial championship, for their's, Leinster and hurling in general's sakes

The thing that is worrying me is that now KK have the three-in-a-row in their sights they will be hell-bent on pulling it off.
Also they will want to overtake our 30 AI's. They are in the exact same position as they were in 2004 when we beat them. Then we had a relatively young team who were highly motivated to stop them. Next year we will be relying on the same players as before (Donal Og, Sean Og, Sully, the O' Connor twins) and I fear that KK will finally achieve what they have always dreamed of;three-in-a-row and top of the pile in AI wins.

Dont take too much out of the result today lad, kilkenny havent been great this year and have it easy all the way espically today, if it had been waterford or cork today it would have been a different result, limerick were shockingly bad espically the first half..

mirror image of 2004 alright, they stopped us last year and we had an easy final against galway in '05 jusy like kilkenny today..we still have a great squad a few changes to freshen things up and we'll be back next year

I think its a wind-up the way KK will get straight to a semi-final next year but they will be lacking game time so maybe that will be of advantage to one of the munster teams who'll be required to stop them.

KK are currently a great team but they're not infallable. Remember how they collapased in 2004? We beat them by 7 points I think. If Cork can come into the championship with renewed hunger that'll be more than enough. For me, its all about playing at a higher tempo for shorter periods and make sure you get a return.

KK looked invincible in the first ten minutes when they went 2-3 up but no team can keep that up. All they had to do was to keep in touch with Limerick after that.
