Well done to the lads.
Yes, I was at home watching the 1-0 snoozefest against Sunderland.

are you from watergrasshill?
Becoz if you are and you stayed home to watch a football game, you would want a good smacking.. From reading the board on occasion, but always proclaim you are the big GAA fan, but if you didn't go watch your own club play in the 1/4 of a country championship, you are some tool of a man.
I was at the game, watergrasshill were excellent in fairness, ballyhea didn't know what hit them, they are some joke of a team.
They played something like 32 challenge games, won 30 of them and then to go out and play like they did is just quite baffling really. Hope watergrasshill can go and play like that again the next night against blarney.

by the way, The hill will probably be a nice price with the bookies too, Blarney have been fairly impressive this year but I reckon the Hill can take them

I think the Hill could win the county as it happens. Beating Youghal was no mean feat and then it was only Desmond who contributed to Youghal's scoring.

They destroyed Youghal in the second half.
Only for a few good saves by their keeper it could have been more.
The hill has always had plenty interest and bodies for hurling but suffered, I think, with a lack of a class hurler or two.
There's a bunch of lads in and around their early 20s now and some excellent hurlers among them.
I heard a story about them ostracising a friend of their's because he went out drinking the night before a game a while back as well so the commitment is good too.

Ballymartle are in the semi V Carrigtwohill. They've been talking themselves up for a while now, especially over on rebelgaa. They'd do well to keep quiet and hurl away, because Carrigtwohill have been at the juncture many times before and are absolutely flying this year, Seanie Farrell off the booze for good it seems!
I'm going to say a Watergrasshill V Carrigtwohill final, with Carrig finally winning the county

Not really no, didn't start the Youghal game like.

From what I've seen of Francis over the last few years is that he makes up for his lack of hurling with his commitment and his workrate. He makes things very difficult for his opponent. Good to see him chipping in with a few scores the other night.

I really don't have time for this today Lamps, safe to say it was something similarly arbitrary.

Suffice to say, you said that you started following soccer because you liked "Bryan Robson".
I can only assume that not being a Bryan or Robson that you thought he had nice legs

Went to the game v Blarney last night. Blarney keeper had a good game until 10 mins from time decided to run from his line with no one around him and catch a 65 which went over his paw and into the net. Watergrasshill were a point down at the time, Blarney looking shaky but could have held on.
The start of the game Blarney went for a goal from a 21 yard free - about 2 mins into the game but it was blocked on the line. They tried it mid way through too with the same result. Bizarre.

The game had an "after the Lord Mayor's show" feel after the Ballymartle Limerick style-collapse in the second half of their encounter with Carrig.
Christ almighty. Everyone was talking about it even leaving the Hill game. Easily the best performance skill-wise of the four teams on show but just threw it away. 15 wides someone counted. Carrig fellas behind us later on were still trying to work out how they'd won.
Hill never really at their best but did enough, think they were the better side. Hopefully they can produce in the final now. There for the taking.

Aaach. I had heard the result but no account of the game. So they threw it away? Feck it anyway.
Still though. An All-Ireland win tomorrow will more than make up for it.

Totally.
They've some very good hurlers but the full back line was in the horrors.
