for the last couple of months, i have been optimistic and thought that, with a couple of decent signings, that west ham would finish between 9th and 11th.

but, low and behold, curbs yet again pulls off the transfer coups of the year by signing another newcastle reject and a wigan reject, players which are of undoubted world class quality and will take us into europe as the chairman has said he wants

after the transfer window went quietly into the night last night, i was at work, and had time to re-evaluate my position, nope, i still dislike curbs (only my dislike has grown exponentially), nor do i believe this forum all of a sudden has intelligent life forms in it, my change of position is that west ham will not reach the nose-bleed inducing heights of 11th, we will be lucky to get out of the bottom 7, at least whilst curbs is still in charge.

maybe, just maybe, he will get himself the sack before it's too late and we can get a decent manager in before it's too late

at least munster confirmed a big transfer coup last night to take the edge off

Does this delay West Ham becoming bigger than Chelsea & Man Utd or are we still on for 2013?

2013, sure thats 6 years away, curbs will be gone by xmas, (hopefully) so that should give us plenty of time, how about celtic, will they have won the 4134 SPL title in a row, deffo the most competitive league out there.

hey what are the papers, sorry the gospel, saying today?

The Sun :West Ham have signed Nobby Solano & Henri Camara. Solano, ex Villa & Newcastle is famous for being Peruvian. Camara, ex Wigan & Celtic, is famous for failing miserably at Celtic.

All is not rosy in the garden however as one tea lady said 'for the last couple of months, i have been optimistic and thought that, with a couple of decent signings, that west ham would finish between 9th and 11th.'

Typical tabloid standards!! "Tea lady" should of course read "barmaid".
