Apparently, poor Saha has gotten a very unfair treatment meted out to him.

They discovered in the off-season that their was a fairly serious underlying injury problem which was causing a lot of his niggly injuries.

I like a nice balance between good defending and good attacking play.

who's giddy? pool have done well, but i'd have been disappointed if they weren't where they are.

quinn only managed for a couple of games didn't he? can't imagine he did too well. and sunderland were bottom, or near bottom of the league when royston came to town. any more questions?

The last time i checked they were out of the relegation zone (as Xvis said) and the have had a pretty tough start

but for a few lucky late goals, keane would be doing worse than maccarthy had been. there's a fine line between success and failure in top football it seems.

so that's why managers never get fired in the middle of the season? all managers are under scrutiny for the whole season. i'd say royston is feeling the heat. although he knows he'll get a huge payout if he gets fired, so i'd say he's not bothered either way.
