Teddy Bjarnason has fallen out with Strachan (shockeroo) and could be off to Hearts for as little as 100k.

Arsenal bound now I'd say.
Scottish football is shite, but is it really any less entertaining than Wigan v Fulham?

Hibs have played some lovely stuff under both Mowbray & Collins, even with the loss of Riordan, Thomson & Brown. I'm not including Caldwell...

heh heh,
O'Connor and Murray were 2 big losses as well last year, Whittiker as well to rangers was another one this summer....
Even with the way they played the amount of soft goals the 2 goalkeepers left in was unreal, Hopefully the big bloke from Chelsea will resolve that issue..

O'Connor. Will be interesting to see how he gets on at Brum.
Didn't Sproule leave also? Isn't he gone to Northampton or someone like that?
Malkowski did leave in some horrible soft goals last season alright.

Hopefully O'Connor will do all right, but i can only see them going straight back down...
Sproule went to Bristol City, he was lightening fast but couldn't cross or pass the ball too well, but he did get the hat trick V rangers

MALKOWSKI MAKES INVERNESS SWITCH
Inverness Caledonian Thistle have signed Polish goalkeeper Zbigniew Malkowski on loan from Hibernian until the end of the season.
The 29-year-old goes into the Inverness squad for tomorrow's match against the Easter Road side but is not expected to start the game.
Malkowski had a spell on loan at Gretna last season after falling out of favour at Easter Road.

was at easter road for derby game on 'boxing day' ...weird to say the least , the jambo's didn't celebrate a goal they celebrated the fact they had stuffed it to hibs .. thought it was sad to have to cover up our colours leaving the pitch

Very worried about the appointment of John Reid as our chairman. Absolutley disgraceful. Celtic Board are stooping to new lows.

He would probably be on the bench at least, Great start by Hibs so far and it would have been nice to be on top of the SPL for the next 2 weeks (international break)

True, but Killen wouldn't start normally with Celtic, Zurawski and VoH both injured, but i presume Wee Gord didn't expect to be down 1-0 with 4 mins to go against Gretna, although he did keep both his strikers on while Riordan was left sitting on the bench
Fletcher will probably be the next to go to an old firm team :)

Saw that as well but I went for the big story!!!!!!!
Fletcher will soon be off somewhere but I presume not Real, I would imagine the Old Firm, or possibly WBA if they get into the Prem.

If the huns get rid of Cousin & Boyd I could see Lafferty & Fletcher joining them.

Hibs out of the intertoto.....
Hibernian's venture into Europe proved a short-lived experience as they were knocked out in the second round of the Intertoto Cup by Swedish outfit IF Elfsborg.
Trailing 2-0 from last weekend's first leg at Easter Road, Mixu Paatelainen's men were unable to retrieve the deficit on the artificial surface at the Boras Arena before just 3,523 supporters.
Championship-chasing Elfsborg, who have lost just two of their opening 13 league games to sit second in the Allsvenkan, again showed their class to run out comfortable victors.
Hibs, who have not even finished a third week of pre-season, were again ring-rusty as they failed to make it third time lucky in the Intertoto Cup, after previously failing in 2004 and 2006.
The first goal was key and left-back Mathias Floren grabbed it cheaply on 20 minutes to leave Hibs with too big a mountain to climb.
Floren struck a shot from 20 yards that deflected off Chris Hogg and eluded Andy McNeil in nets.
Hibs went close through Alan O'Brien and Dean Shiels but the hosts always looked threatening and wrapped up the tie and the victory 11 minutes from time.
Emir Bajrami's drilled shot into the top right corner from the edge of the box left McNeil with no chance.
Despite their failure to secure a backdoor entry into the UEFA Cup, Paatelainen feels his side will benefit in the long run from competitive pre-season matches, as well as gaining European experience.
