Well whos for the dreaded drop this season? i reckon Derby and Wigan anyway cant call the third spot, anyone from sunderland. birmingham, fulham, reading, middlesbrough (have a feeling they will struggle this year) think west ham will be safe, hard to know with man city.

I think west ham placing their faith in craig bellamy should safely see them return to the championship next season.

Wigan, Derby and the third is a tough one, the Hammers should be safe made some smart buys in the summer, however Man City have taken one hell of a gamble, any body seen these lads play much? Reading too will face a tough season, don't know if they can escape second season sydrome, and letting Sidwell go will effect them.

Man City won't be anywhere near the drop, Sven the club manager is not Sven the England manager.

agree to certain extent, sven is a very good club manager,my only reservation is he has bought a new startin XI literally and really needs to get off to a good start, can see city being safely midtable though with an outside chance of sneeking into europe as i do with about half a dozen clubs.

there will be the normal top four, spurs followed by the likes of everton, villa and newcastle - and then the rest, those that get off to poor starts will be in the bottom five or so for most of the season.

for me wigan are bankers for the drop, hutchings talking during the summer that his signings show the ambition the club have but in reality they are other clubs rejects, bramble and siberski ffs, splashed out a bit on koumas who is still unproven at PL level.

think both birmingham and derby will struggle but will fight to the end, will be in with a chance of avoiding relegation going into the final weeks of the season, the deciding factor could be the respective boards, bruce has been well supported by his in the past and i expect it to be the case again in january.davies on the other hand seems to be constantly at war with the powers that be at pride park.

southgates honeymoon is over and i can see boro being a bottom four club this season, hasnt bought anyone that suggests otherwise and should yakubu leave in the next few weeks then i will put them alongside wigan.

will be interesting to see how reading fare this year.havent bought at all (yet) and history shows a struggle should be on the cards.dont think they will do as well as last year but still shouldnt be involved in the relegation battle as season concludes.

bolton are another side that i believe will find themselves in the second half of the table but again assuming anelka stays should be ok,but does he have the temperment for a fight,le sulk could return.

wigan,boro and.......

birmingham - narrowly losing out to derby.

underachievers - west ham.
overachievers - fulham.

overachievers - fulham.Agreed. Sanchez's signings don't look Premiership quality but they'll be a real solid team unit in my opinion.

hes worked with the majority of his signings and has shown with NI that his team is often better than the sum of its parts.

hard to call. fulham look doomed. and from the others, i'd say bolton have the least quality, especially now they've sold anelka.
