Cork City continue their work in the community

Cork City are continuing their work in the community and under the "Investment in the Community" Programme members of the club visited the children's wards of Cork University Hospital and the Bons Secours.

Club manager Damien Richardson and captain Dan Murray were joined by Liam Kearney as they visited the two children's wards and heaped praise on doctors and nurses.

Meanwhile, Cork City's African Representative team had cause for celebration at the UCC pitches on Sunday afternoon. They overcame a Dublin African Representative team on aggregate despite losing 1-0 in the Cork leg. A 3-2 win in Dublin had set up the Cork side for the win as CCFC continued its "Show Racism the Red Card" initiative.
