I have been asked again by a few people if there is a chance I would run a stand up comedy workshop here in the city, as more and more people want to get in to the stand up scene but dont know how to get started so I'm going to throw this out to everone out there. I will be starting the workshops after the Summer, but if enough people want to get an early start then I will run a workshop within the next 4 weeks, but only if the numbers are there. Any one wishing to sign up then you can contact me through the usual channels, the format would be as follows : one night a week for 6-7 weeks, roughly 2 hours per night covering the usual moduels plus a few extras. At the end you do a gig in front of an audience. As for the fee, at this stage most know the money does'nt bother me ( pity the comedy clubs know this )so the fee will be more than affordable. No time wasters, and as I've stated if the numers are there then ok otherwise not until September, so let's see what happens

This is a great idea Pat. As mentioned in my previous thread. Cork needs some fresh blood and to be honest there's nothing the cork comedians will do about this because they seem like they do not want to do anything!

If you need any help please send me a message of some sort and I will help you with all I can.
