Denmark Vs Sweden match abandoned

Anyone see this? Sweden went 0-3 only to have Denmark fight back to 3-3. Then in the 89th minute, one of the Danish defenders stupidly punched a player in the stomach. Linesman spotted it, ref gave a red, and a fan charged onto the pitch and assaulted the ref. He didnt get him too badly, but the match was abandoned and its likely that Sweden will be given a 0-3 victory. Pretty dramatic stuff...

I was watching the game with a Dane and a Swede, ...who ended up punching the living daylights out of each other, although that was more to do with Viking homo-eroticism than the actions on the pitch.

There was no stewards around the pitch, after the initial invasion of the fella (who it appears had 15-18 pints that day), It wasn't obvious from the original camera angle how blatant the punch was, the original angle showed the Swede leaning into the defender a few times and was the original aggressor. This would have clouded the Danish fans view.

There was a sense then that the Danish crowd could get the game abandoned and a few bottles were thrown on. Then the ref consulted the fourth official and they went off, then there was a comedy effort where a Danish fan dribbled the length of the pitch before shooting into an empty net. Then a third fan did a little jaunt on the pitch a few minutes later, ...again no stewards in front of the fans and it was all a bit unnecessary.

A few minutes later the scoreboard showed 3-0 as is customary for an abandoned game and the Swedish team came out to celebrate with their fans.

If the ref hadn't lost his composure with the slap, the whole thing could have been calmed down in a few minutes and the game played out, with the fan facing whatever charges.
