There, I've said it. I hope Cork footballers lose to Kerry in the Munster final.
What's the point in beating them when they just come back in through the qualifiers and beat the shit out of us in the All-Ireland semi-final?
That's what has happened in the last three ocassions we've beaten them in Munster and I am heartily sick of it at this stage.
I would normally never want to see any Cork team lose but on this occasion I think it will be to our advantage if we let them beat us in the Munster Final.
Then we can go through the qualifiers and then get the bastards in Croker when they will be complacent thinking "Ah sure we've beaten them already this year, this'll be no bother."

beat Tipp 2-18 to 10 points, comprehensive win.
I've no fears about this Cork team taking on Kerry at all this year.

I think Cork will still go out to win it. To be honest, I don't think losing to Kerry is ever a good idea, even if it was in chess. Also with a few handy teams in the qualifies, I don't think it would be a forgone conclusion that Cork would get to the quarter finals if they had to go that route.

As for the match yesterday, it was a comprehensive victory, but not a great performance. Bit more work to be done for when they meet Kerry.
But in saying all that, Pierce O' Neill has improved a great deal and is great asset to the half forward line. Canty is doing well since he came back as well.

Agree with you, seemed to struggle for alot of the first half until the goals.there's far more strength to the panel this year and that's very important. We've options when we need to change things and we've got players like Goold and Goulding chomping at the bit to get onto the pitch fromt he bench. Roll on the 1st July.

Also, credit to Masters, 1-07 against Limerick, 2-07 yesterday, 2-3 from play... 3-7 will do nicely against Kerry please James :)
