Tony Blair, George Mitchell and Bill Clinton have all rowed in behind Bertie if anyone saw FF’s party political broadcast last night: all saying how great he is.

Nobody doubts Ahern has done his bit for Norn Iron but foreign governments should stay out of Irish politics at election time.

Surprised there wasn’t more of a furore about it.

Angela Merkel has already backed the Irish branch of the Christian Democrats in this election. Undoubtedly she was impressed by Enda's impressive list of achievements during his 30 years in the Dáil.

Bill Clinton did the same for John Bruton in the 1997 election it seems and it did him SFA good. I don't see it making any difference. If anything it could cause a backlash against FF.

wasn't him as leader of FF just what he did - or has meant to have done for- norn iron --why not
If you look back and compare him him to that neo -unionist neanderthal John bruton he did ok - why not take a bow
