Edmunt: Congrats to manyoo and manyooers on winning the weague.

Proof that money isn't the be all and end all of winning titles.
Diving and having a few refs in your pocket are important too.

Five spot-kicks awarded against Manchester United this season and two against Chelsea, but never mind. 7 awarded in all competitions, 5 for Chelsea.
But never mind.

POL: If my son came home wearing a Munster jersey I'd beat him

Wow

Lamps:
My prediction is that Keane will be a flop as a manager, he's already starting to crack. Mickey Mack took Sunderland up, Keane must do this within 2 seasons to be mentioned in the same breadth.

Had to be seen one more time

Edmunt: Middlesboro fans are scum and they may or may not have got what they deserved.

POL: Still pales though in comparison to Mick McCarthys achivement of getting Sunderland out of that division 2 years ago with no money to spend and a record points total.

After almost 10 years as a manager, including how long again at international level POL?

Lamps: lies, damned lies and frank lampard has scored more goals for Chelsea this year than Ronaldo has for ManU.

i
shit
you
not

Turned out Ronaldo had scored one more by that point, 22-21. Anyway, at close of business, ronaldo 23, Lampard 21 (inc 3 v Maccesfield, 2 v Wycombe)

Lamps: Is Roy Keane being bankrolled to the championship

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What has he spent, 10-12 million on players, reputed to be on 2 million a year wages. Sundireland are operating at premiership levels.

Discuss

Not true, he spent £7.7 million, having sold players for £6.1 million.

A net spend of £1.6 million. Wages mean nothing in this context either
