Re Hargreaves: Fergie wants him first and foremost cos he's English(undisputable ) and also cos he has 'proven' himself(disputable) over many years at a club that takes no nonsense.
i think he's technically dire and defensively mediocre....

To be honest, I'm after cooling on the idea of signing him. Too much bagagge really and for me as good as a player as he is , it's not enough to risk upsetting the good team spirit and togetherness that's currently at Everton

I'd love to see him at United but I dunno would I take the risk of signing him if I were Fergie. If Dabo is serious about getting the police to charge Barton then I dont think the Glazer's would be too keen handing over the money for a possible criminal & from a supporters point of view I'd worry what effect an impending court case might have on the player himself mid season if he was playing really well.
