From various 'reputable' sources.

IN
Ajax winger Ryan Babel for £6million.
OUT
Brazilian star Julio Baptista will return to Real Madrid
Arsenal will sell Jose Antonio Reyes.
Freddie Ljungberg is also on his way out.
Wenger may be ready to listen to offers for both Mathieu Flamini and Philippe Senderos.
Real are also keen on William Gallas.
Gilberto off to Juventus.
ONE THAT GOT AWAY
Marseille's French winger Franck Ribery seems set to join Real. His £20m asking price is likely to be out of Arsenal's league.
____________________ ____________________ ___________
Baptista, Reyes and Flamini are the only players I can see leaving. Do we really need another midfielder? Especially can't see us getting rid of our most defensively minded one. Seven players out, one in? Yeah, right.

I've been told Boruc was a dead cert with Fabianski (Legia) replacing him at Celtic.
Now it looks like Fabianski is going to fill Boruc's impending place at Arsenal.

Is he (Fabianski) any good? I've been very impressed with Boruc when ever I've seen him play. Seems as, eh, colourful as Crazy Jens as well.

Fabianksi looks a decent prospect. I'd have been more than happy to take the money for Boruc and have him replace him. Don't think there's any player Celtic should be turning down money for. Best Celtic keeper I've seen in my lifetime mind, though that's not too tough.

i seen fabianksi on eurosport over the weekend. they should some of his saves. it was a big compilation. i reckon it was 4 mins long.
he pulled off some fuckin classic saves. id be thrilled if we signed him.
thrilled.
1. Jens Lehmann - id sell him right now
2. Abou Diaby - the new vieira? not if he keeps playing as a winger. good season...glad to have him back.
4. Francesc Fabregas - player of the year. boy to man over the summer.
5. Kolo Toure - few errors, wasted in defence though
6. Philippe Senderos - sack, dont even want cash. makes stam look like a 100m sprinter. great spirit, fuck all speed. More error prone than cygan, and cygan was just unluckey.
7. Tomas Rosicky - finally, a pires replacement....will be huge for us next year.
8. Fredrik Ljungberg - bye freddie, thanks for the memories.
9. Julio Baptista - swap for reyes or 8 million max...tough first year but still got ten goals. the first touch of a rapist this season.
10. William Gallas - injury fla'd him....
11. Robin Van Persie - out for a large part of the season, next year has to be consistancy with him and he will probably break 20 goals, needs to.
13. Alexander Hleb - sack him? keep him? give him one more year, best dribbler in the premiership, worst passer.
14. Thierry Henry - the king will return. he will be rewarded for his loyalty.
15. Denilson - unbelievable, where does wenger get um. if they sold fabregas for 40million and that went straight back into team building i wouldnt cry salty tears.....
16. Mathieu Flamini - great player for man utd to sign. hargreaves 20million? ffs.
17. Alexandre Song - done very good at charlton, another year on loan.
19. Gilberto - captain fantastic. sad day when hes the main goal threat. Delighted he came out of vieras shadow. Maybe time to go though.
20. Johan Djourou - tough hes not in the starting 11. id risk giving him out on a season long loan. hes at the age where he needs games and unless wenger had the balls to play toure in midfield then djourou will stay static.
22. Gael Clichy - cashley who? finally starting to add to what was weakened
by cashley going, attacking presence. Always said he was the better defender, still think he is.
24. Manuel Almunia - never gona be number 1, send him packing if lehmann is deffo staying.
25. Emmanuel Adebayor - fierce guts...fierce. has to stop missing chances. could be a very important player for the gunners.
27. Emmanuel Eboue - pissing me off bigtime with his ronaldo/pires/drogba style antics. needs to cop the fuck on.
30. Jeremie Aliadiere - cant believe he hasnt made it. finally starting to accept he wont at arsenal. A huge signing for sunderland, boro, man city and the like.
31. Justin Hoyte - for my own sanity please be better than eboue next season. eboue is a great right back, just a fuckin messer.
32. Theo Walcott - big learning curve. always feared for him as hes not a "knacker" type like rooney. Hes too quiet. I think he suffers from doing exactly what wenger asks him. Needs ten goals next season.
33. Matthew Connolly - will need to get a full season away.
38. Kerrea Gilbert - needs to get his head right, if he can he can be the new micah richards. rate him very highly.
45. Armand Traore - didnt let us down once, huge legs. I mean huge. wouldnt like a kick off um....
for me our outs should be.....
lehmann
ljunberg
flamini
aliadire
senderos
considering financial plight.....
our ins
good keeper....
baptista depending
bring back reyes
one from dunne/mexes/baby rio/alex/ or knight...
joey barton
nzogbia
nzogbia is a great player, dont think he will get on with big sam.
joey barton would add steel but also has the flair and the all round play.
a good defender to share the workload
reyes didnt set real alight but still scores goals. something i dont think henry appreciated and hence bullied him outta arsenal.
lehmann is a goat.......8 bookings in the premiership this season. ffs.

Diaby needs more playing time, especially after managing to get 1 foot into the dressing room of Les Bleus 1 month ago.
Denilson also looks f***ing promising.
With the likes of Hleb, Rosciky, Fabregas, Ljunberg, Gilberto and Baptista in contention for a position in midfield, Wenger might have to sell if he wants the youngsters to explode.
I see Gilberto and Ljungerg leaving, giving more room to Diaby to play in central midfield next to Cesc. Rosicky on the right, Ribery on the left, the Van/Adebayor and the King upfront. Adebayor would be 2nd choice after the Van to my preference, Walcott...?hope he'll get to play as a striker next season.
Out Senderos & Flamini.
Bendtner could also get chance next season.

Andy Johnson has reached his level if you ask me. And for the money being mooted, £2M, there isn't a better keeper about than Fabianski. Would have no problem losing Boruc if this boy was replacing him. Legia apparently have a string of fantastic keepers coming through.

What's it with Legia keepers and pre-match routines. He blesses himself in the first few seconds, I wonder if he'll be complained to police in England

It appears almost certain that Julio Baptista is on his way back to Spain after a removal van from Madrid was seen outside his house yesterday. Baptista is on loan from Real Madrid and Arsène Wenger confirmed that a final decision on the Brazilian's future would be taken this week.
He enjoyed great success in the Carling Cup, scoring four away to Liverpool and two at Spurs, but has made little impact in the Premiership.

Why Reyes Naff? Surely he's proven he wasn't up to it?
if you think about it, he did really. sure he was no pires and certainly no henry.
he just didnt justify the price tag like.....and madrid grass being greener really took got into his head.
In his 2 full seasons at arsenal he played in 56 premiership games.
He scored 16 goals and had 20 assists. Not bad for a fella who failed.
Last season i predicted he would top henry in goal scoring, largely because i felt henry wouldnt do what he done the year before and reyes 2nd full season would have seen him fairly well settled. He score 2 hattricks in the two friendlies before the season kicked off. Great going. He scored a goal a game for the first 6 games and then there was the lull as well as the brutal assault at trafford. He got over it and started scoring again and playing well and then the madrid radio thing happened and finished him off.
Reyes was bullied out of arsenal by one thierry henry. Henry treated him like total dirt. It was fuckin disgraceful. Henry started this season with a new aim. Treating van persie like dirt, But van persie started outscoring him and totally had the fans on his side, henry stepped back, but you still didnt see henry congradulate him when he scored like you did with others. The minute van persie went out of the team adeybeyor came in and look how henry acts? Dancing on the wings with him, laughing with him etc. Henry is a massive ego. He bullied reyes out, reyes gave in. He started to bully van persie but van persie proved it on the pitch.
Reyes might realise he had it good at arsenal. If henry went i imagine he would have no problem coming back and id have no issue with it either. For a young spanish boy averging 10 assists and 7 goals from the wings wasnt bad. especially considering pires and ljunberg were in them teams too.

Reports originating in France have suggested that Arsenal are monitoring Rennes starlet Jimmy Briand.
The 21-year-old forward has taken an important place in Rennes set-up of late and L'Equipe has reported that the Gunners’ scouts are to watch Jimmy Briand, who is contracted with the French outfit until 2009.
France Under 21 coach Rene Girard revealed Briand is a rare type of a forward, who is also being linked with St Etienne and Lens.
"I have been convinced since his first match against Sweden," said Girard.
"Jimmy is an absolute professional. He has an exceptionally rare quality for a forward.
"With some forwards, if they are having a bad day, you almost play down to ten.
"When it doesn't work well for him, he does his best to make it work for the other players."

Arsenal have reportedly inched close to signing full-back Bakari Sagna for £6million from Auxerre, while speculations on Thierry Henry continue to grow with AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti reportedly keeping an eye on the Barcelona-target.
24-year-old Sagna was in the France squad for the first time on Saturday when Raymond Domenech’s side beat Ukraine 2-0 in the Euro 2008 qualifier in Paris.
Auxerre, however, are not sure whether right-back Sagana is ready for the Premiership and want him to stay for another year.
Manager Jean Fernandez said: "The ideal thing would be for him to stay another year but that appears difficult."

Cesc's Gunner walk if boss goes
Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas says he is "90% sure" he will leave the Gunners if Arsene Wenger exits the Emirates Stadium.
The young Spaniard has admitted he is having doubts about signing an eight-year deal with the Gunners, with concerns about the futures of both Wenger and Thierry Henry.
"It could be that I have doubts," said Fabregas. "Before I was very sure and I signed for eight years.
"I was sure that this was the ideal club for me but now maybe I am not so sure when I see that the coach has not renewed his contract, that the president has gone and I don't know what Thierry Henry is going to do.
"These are all things that could have an influence on my future.
Fabregas told Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo: "If Wenger goes I'm 90% sure I will leave. I identify the team with him, and without Wenger, Arsenal wouldn't be the same."

FKH Haugesund insists the door "isn't closed" to Arsenal after they rejected a bid for teenager Havard Nordtveidt yesterday.
Arsenal remain favourites to sign Nordtveit, 16, although an offer was rejected by FK Haugesund. Arsene Wenger, the Arsenal manager, went to Norway at the weekend to speak to the defender, who has also attracted serious interest from Manchester United.
"We had a nice talk, we are still discussing and the door is not closed," Nils Halvor Berge, the FKH Haugesund director, said.

France's style of play isnt Arsenal's at all...
Domenech and Wenger have to complete different approach.
France's boring but efficient, Arsenal's is flamboyant/entertaining but doesnt pay (well not yet).
For the records Henry & Trez were both playing together when Monaco won the french league in 97 and also made it to the CL 1/2 finals in 98.
Thy play alongside each other for 3 seasons and did extremely well...can't see why that wouldnt work again....they just need the right style of play as they're both world class players.

So... who's going to replace our missing French striker. Obviously, we'll miss Aliadiere - but life goes on! Here's five from the Guardian (though I imagine we'll be linked with everyone anyway).
Nicolas Anelka £11m
He scored in the Double-clinching FA Cup final in 1998 as a teenager and has unfinished business at Arsenal. Wenger has never ruled out his return and the maturity he now displays after converting to Islam is an important factor, but overriding that are the Frenchman's goals. More direct than Henry, he would thrive on the numerous, often-squandered chances the Gunners create.
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar £15m
Thirty-seven goals in 48 league appearances for Ajax over the past two seasons have launched him into the top rank of European strikers. An established Holland international at 23 years old - having leapfrogged the out-of-favour Ruud van Nistelrooy in the pecking order - he could be another promising addition to Arsenal's strike force but would probably seek first-team guarantees.
Carlos Tevez £20m
The 23-year-old Argentinian's success in almost single-handedly securing the survival of West Ham United has seen him linked with all of European football's giant clubs, including the Italian champions Internazionale. But that might be as much the attempt of his handlers, Media Sports Investment, to raise his market value: whether that should be at £20m is debatable.
Obafemi Martins £13m
The Nigerian devastated Arsenal in Inter's 3-0 Champions League win at Highbury in September 2003. His 11 Premiership and six Uefa Cup goals were a more-than-respectable return for a first season in England. His Newcastle team-mate Michael Owen, thanks to his release clause, would be more affordable at around £9m but his wage demands make him expensive.
Samuel Eto'o £30m
The Cameroon international has a few negative issues surrounding him. He is as truculent as a young Anelka, he will be expensive - in terms of wages and transfer fee - and, like Martins, is due to jet off to the African Nations Cup early next year. He is, however, a marvellous goalscorer who would thrive on the service from Arsenal's generous midfield.
The two I wouldn't be overly gone on are Anelka & Martins. Because I'm racist. Not really. Nic cause I'm not sure if you should ever really go back and Martins cause I just don't rate him that highly. Can't see Eto'o moving, Liam has assured me that Tevez won't leave and it's uncertain if Huntelaar can make the step up in Klass. Though I think the Dutchman would be my preferred pick out of those five.
