How many time has Dennehy actually attended the Dail since the last election 3 or 4 times ?

I assume ministerial expense aren't included. In fact, the bottom three are all ministers.

I'd imagine it's because he's a crook.

I would think Coveney also has MEP expenses claims - shouldn't they be added to his TD claims? Otherwise he seems extremely low

Planning issue?
You are pretty ignorant of politics.
He phoned the chairman of Bord Gais to recommend a company he was involved with for a contract. That was improper for a minister and he resigned. It was three years before he died. There was no connection between it and his accidental death.

my post wasn't meant to be a personal attack on him or his family! I just wondered about the numbers - it certainly wouldn't make him corrupt if he had a bit more from MEP expenses...

P.E.G. and his bunch would know nothing of resigning after improper conduct.
I don't think his post should be interpreted as an attack on Coveney. He probably admires any hint of corruption.

His actual words were: "Don't forget about the lads now when you're making up your mind about that job."
In all fairness, that's hardly recommending his company now is it?
It was very minor.

John Dennehy is apparently the most expensive T.D. in the country. He also has the worst attendance record of any T.D.
