Hey guys, just wondering. I love comedy, and I like to think of myself as a funny guy, and I'd love to do some standup locally. Catch is, I'm thirteen. Is there any chance of my making it as a comedian or will I have to wait? Also, is there any junior standup clubs or clubs that take junior members around Cork I could get involved with? Thanks!

You're illegal on too many levels! Interesting one for the Craichouse boys.

hey Orbett you are indeed way too young to perform in any of the comedy clubs that have a bar but what you could do is check out if ther are any youth theatre groups in your area, this way you get training with regards to stage presence, performing and delivery, and you might also get the chance to try out some of your stand up in some of their shows, the end result is that by the time you are 18, you will have a hugh advantage over most other comedians starting out.

I've already been to a few acting schools/courses, and can project my voice well etc. but next time I do one I'll defenitely try and incorporate soem of the stuff I've been working on in it. Thanks Pat. Pity I'll have to wait but oh well, plenty of time to practice :P
