It seems that alot of people are saying it should be Coppell. I dont go with that to be honest. While he may have done a superb job of putting Reading where they are, and full credit to him for doing so, I just dont think its him that deserves it. But it happens all the time.

A team comes up, plays their hearts out and finishes inside the top ten in their first season. West Ham last season being a prime example and we all know how they did this season. Its all about that second season in the top flight. And more luck to him next season. He is a decent manager but for me he is not the manager of the season. He might get it next season if he keeps them in that top ten.

But this season has been about the race for the title, and as much as it pains me to say it Sir Alex Ferguson gets my vote. United were the team everyone was saying was not going to be near the pace of Chelsea and even Liverpoo and Arsenal. That never happened. They stormed to the top and remained there for a bloody long time too. He kept Ronaldo at the club and with all that went on in the World Cup with Rooney, that was a miracle. Ronaldo proving on many occasions that he has talent and Alex done well keeping him there. (I still think twinkle toes is a fucking asshole by the way). The title is now won and the FA Cup final is yet to come and apart from the total lack of quality wednesday night against AC Milan they might be in a Champions League final too. Mourinho might be in a few minds but I dont know why. Ferguson has done a fantastic job and its the two finger salute to all those who doubted him and United.

Who is your manager of the year.???

Haha!

Roy Keane without a doubt! An absolute hero!
What I don't like is him getting way to much praise by the media.
An example is when there is a picture of Keane on the back page when a player scored 3 goals etc.

Other than that ... What he did was unbelievable!

steve bruce deserves to be there as well, good "bouncebackability" what's he going to do without the loan players though.
