Hello all fellow Cork comedians, those of you in attendance at meeting in the roundy a couple of weeks back may remember Pat O'Shea's brilliant suggestion about us having a new venue where we can sharpen up new stuff and give each other feed back. I've been looking into this and have a venue for every second monday night, and if there is any interest hope to start on Monday14th May. Already have 2 comedians for first night if any one else has interst in this and future nights please e-mail me at
seamusburke@abtran.c om . Either Pat or myself will be sending a text round at the weekend. Hopefully there is some interest in this cause if it goes well
it can be ongoing. It will also offer local comedians chance to get involved in
organising comedy nights and practising MC' ing skills.

Well done to Seamus for getting the ball rolling, now it's up to the other comedians to get involved. As most will be aware the craichouse wont be on for the next 2 weeks so this is a good run out befor kilkenny cat's. More importantly this is another venue for comedians to get their names out prior to the Cork comedy festival. If the intention is to incorporate the venue as a type of comedians work shop if the audience could also be involved by way of some type of suggestion box so comedians can get a good insight as to what audiences really think of their sets, again well done to Seamus, now lets give him the support required.
