The Craichouse Comedy Club has been bringing only the finest Stand up comedy to Cork for nearly 3 years now. We have launched careers of some fantastic comedians and have given many nights of laughter to the good people of Cork. At our venue at 55 MacCurtain Street, formally the LV now Eddies Bar, we have gone from strength to strength. I'm sure you've all some great memories of the nights there - but unfortunately all good things must come to and end!:mad: :mad:
The introduction of band's :confused: to Eddies Bar has been causing a few problems to our club as late and after we could not agree on how to solve this and after much deliberation we have decided it's time to find ourselves a new home. We believe that as the club is so successful and the competition is going so well it's only fair to the comedians and the comedy fans alike that we continue to provided fantastic nights in a venue that is not polluted with outside noise! The only sound we want to hear is your laughter!!
So.......
For the time being Dave Brady (Who originally agreed to the idea of the craichouse in the L.V.) and Vince who run the Sláinte have given us a temporary new home in :
Sláinte (formerly known as The Vineyard)
Market Lane, Patrick Street, Cork.
All shows will be at the same times of 9.30pm and the quality of comedians will not diminish.
We are though looking for a Permanent home, so if you know of any publican who would like his establishment stuffed to the rafters with a comedy crowd then let us know, please. :wink:
Here's to many more nights filled with fun and laughter! And here's to all of you for making the Craichouse what is it today .. we look forward to welcoming you all to join us at Sláinte this Saturday.
