We will start work on the construction at Abbotstown of a world-class national stadium that meets the needs of the three main sporting organizations. We also remain committed to the development of a range of other top class facilities at Abbotstown.

That's just insane.
Although, in fairness, I haven't heard about waiting lists in Ireland for a long time now, whereas they used to be absolutely crazy.

They've used the British trick of moving the waiting list to the consultant. My father was told by our GP to get an appointment with a consultant at the end of March. He can't get one until the second week of May. Getting into hospital after he's seen the consultant won't take too long.

I've been waiting for see a neurologist since December 2005. In fact, I won't get to see that neurologist until August at earliest. As it turns out now, I found out this week that I don't have to see him, but it only took a year and a half to figure that out because I eventually decided to pay privately for an MRI. Sure that's nothing, like.
