Said last week that the scenes at Old Trafford last week were not that uncommon across many games all over England and that Sky and the media ignore it for the greater good(in their own interets). They then overdid the sensationalism with that particular story because it was topical. Very interesting take from somone who appears neutral in the scheme of things.

i've said this before myself, but the likes of MON and the other soccer heads on here laughed it off because the examiner didn't print it. i go to work too early usually for anyone to be there, but if for some reason i'm late you see all the hooligans coming out from all the london clubs, they tend to kick off around liverpool street

Anyone who says that there's no violence at the football in England is either (a) lying, (b) ignorant, or (c) has never been to a game. The only games I go to any more are top of the table ones or the odd CL match (if I can get a ticket) because the lower sides tend to have a lot of hassle with fans.

Depressing, but that's just the way it is.

not true at all, in or around the grounds there is fuck all trouble no matter what end of the table the teams are, because the police presence is so high, the trouble is always out of the way so you have to actively go looking for it (and when ya find it there's plenty of it).

when chelsea play fulham there's serious violence or when arsenal play tottenham, or when tottrnham play west ham, etc, etc.

the teams position in the table is irrelevant
