Having been at the Cross on Friday night and Thurles on Sunday one thing that I found really handy in Semple Stadium was the clock on the scoreboard. Unless Im mistaken there isn't one in Turners Cross.
Obviously soccer scores are much easier to keep track of but the timer is handy. Everytime I go to a match I nearly always forget to look at my watch (if I have oone on) or start a timer at the beginning of the second half and you can hear loads of people asking each other how long's left near the end. It'd be handy to know the official time.
Furthermore, like yesterday when there was only a point in it with 68 minutes gone, the timer adds to the atmosphere when the crowd can see it.
