What a week of comedy in Cork we had Garry Jones did UCC last Wed a great gig, Thurs saw Aiden Bishop do a gig at smilers, Friday ( the best night) saw Karl Spain at barrell o' laughs in Cypruc Avenue, he was f**king fantastic, I nearly pissed my pants I have'nt laughed that mush in such a long time everybody enjoyed him thank God as I did such a shit job as MC, my apologies to Cyprus Ave, but i had the best night ever, Sat night saw Willa White (joy in da hood) get a standing ovation at the craichouse. Now with the Cork comedy Festival coming in a few months and with theopening of so many new comedy clubs, more importantly with Brian bring top acts to city limits, are we at long last taking comedy in Cork to a level whereby we as rebels no longer have to go to Dublin to see 1st rate comedy,,,, at long alst I think so, Cork comedy is here at last, long may it reign
